Day one of the Nordic Eventing Championships!
Dela
This weekend, we’re in Össjö in southern Sweden. Zin Fire and I are competing in the CCI3*-S, which also serves as the Nordic Championship. Zin Fire has been in a great mood all week; he was calm and composed when we arrived yesterday.

Today was the dressage phase. We found a good rhythm during the warm-up, and I feel Zin Fire is much more responsive and has a better range of gears since we adjusted our routine. I think we performed really well in the arena. I did catch myself being a bit "timid" in there, but overall, we took a few more risks than usual. Unfortunately, there was an unplanned flying change during the canter work. We finished with a score of 66.7%.

So, we’re sitting in 10th place after the dressage. I would have liked to be a bit closer to the medals, but we’ll see—hopefully, we can climb the leaderboard. Show jumping is tomorrow.

On the bright side, my family is here with me, so if things don’t go well, we can just treat it as a mini-vacation. Stay Horsey!

You’re only 3.6 out of first place. Not too shabby!
